Sarah Braet is the Head of Digital Transformation at Takeda Los Angeles and is responsible for aligning the manufacturing site’s digital strategy to its business objectives and driving its digital transformation. Additionally, she’s an emeritus member of Takeda’s Global Millennial Advisory Board to the CEO, where she was actively involved in discussions on Hybrid way of working, Unleashing the power of AI and Big Data and the Workforce of the Future at the highest level.

Sarah holds a Master in Drug Development and an Advanced Master in Industrial Pharmacy, after which she gained experience in Plasma Derived Therapies, responsible for process performance and continuous process control systems. She combined the successful development and authorization of an automated continuous manufacturing line in Belgium with her Executive MBA at the Vlerick Business School, after which she relocated to California where she took on the Head of Digital Transformation position for the upstream manufacturing site there.
Known for her continuous drive and positive energy, she loves empowering people. Whether that is on their digital journey, nurturing future-ready skills, or as the VP of the HBA Brussels chapter, mentoring others to get where they deserve to be in their careers.
