Your Safety – Our Priority

We look forward to welcoming you to Digital Transformation Week 2022 at the Santa Clara Convention Centre.

Your safety, and that of all our exhibitors, partners, visitors, suppliers and staff is our number one priority.

To ensure peace of mind and to maximise safety we have created some straight-forward additional measures that we respectfully ask all attendees to comply with.

We cannot wait to welcome you to Digital Transformation Week 2022! Each day you will need five things to get into the show:

  1. Your ticket or badge (These will be sent via email 2 week before the conference)
  2. Valid ID-card: your identification must confirm you are the person presenting proof of vaccination status or negative test result, and entering the venue.
  3. Proof of vaccination and/or a valid negative COVID test*
  4. Health check: at the entrance, we will ask you five health questions.
  5. A face mask as masks are strongly recommended within the facility, but not required.

*Please note that if you provide test results for entry, the test must have been conducted in the last:

– 1 day for an antigen test

– 2 days for a PCR test.


Travelling to the US

  • You must be fully vaccinated to travel to the United States by plane if you are a non-U.S. citizen, non-U.S. immigrant (not a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or traveling to the United States on an immigrant visa). Only limited exceptions apply.
  • You are required to show a negative COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 when you travel to the United States by air.
  • Wearing a mask over your nose and mouth is required in indoor areas of public transportation (including airplanes) traveling into, within, or out of the United States and indoors in U.S. transportation hubs (including airports).

As of 1.15.22 the following processes and procedures are required for events with attendance over 500:

Definitions of Mega Events: Crowds greater than 500 (indoors) attendees, Crowds greater than 5,000 (outdoors) attendees

Vaccine Verification / Negative Testing: Required for Indoor Mega Events, Recommended for Outdoor Mega Events

Capacity Limitations: No restrictions

 Physical Distancing: No restrictions for attendees, customers, and guests

Masking: Follow current CDPH Guidance for Face Coverings

Travelers: Recommend following CDC and CDPH Travel recommendations.


* Fully vaccinated

Definition: See current CDPH Guidance for Fully Vaccinated Persons for definitions, acceptable vaccines, and updates on additional vaccines as they are approved.

Verification: See current Options for Providing Proof of Vaccination in the CDPH Vaccine Record Guidelines & Standards for acceptable methods of vaccine verification.


** Pre-entry negative testing

Definition: Testing must be conducted within one day for an antigen test and within two days for a PCR test prior to entry into an event. Results of the test must be available prior to entry into the facility or venue. Children under 2 years of age are exempt from the testing requirement, consistent with CDC guidance.

In addition to the general public health recommendations:

  • Verification of fully vaccinated status* or pre-entry negative test** result is required of all attendees.

o              Indoor venue and event operators may not use self-attestation as a mode of verification.

  • All businesses must check the identification of all attendees age 18 and over to validate their vaccination record or proof of negative test.

o              Acceptable identification is any document that includes the name of the person and photograph.

  • Information will be prominently placed on all communications, including the reservation and ticketing systems, to ensure guests are aware of testing and vaccination requirements (including acceptable modes of verification).
  • Attendees must follow SCCC directives on face coverings.


  • PARTICIPANTS, ATTENDEES and NCVA STAFF MUST WEAR A FACE COVERING AT ALL TIMES WITHIN THE CONVENTION CENTER. This includes during play. Those individuals claiming medical exemptions must provide proof from a doctor, i.e., note, outlining their inability to wear a face covering. Religious exemptions are not accepted at the Santa Clara Convention Center without prior written permission of the facility. Face coverings can only be removed while actively eating or drinking. Spectra and the Santa Clara Convention Center reserve the right to cancel any event remove any participant, attendee or client staff member at any time with no prior warning if they are not wearing a face covering.
