Born in London and raised in Pakistan he obtained his medical degree from there before returning to the UK to pursue Paediatrics. He changed his career path from clinical medicine and healthcare management after completing an MBA from the University of Nottingham and has been in the NHS for over 19 years now. His career spans various fields within the NHS including international recruitment, Health Education England, Primary Care and Community Providers and over 5 years in Public Health at local level in England and national levels in Wales. More relevant to this event is his experience delivering digital transformation programmes such as a Test Bed Programme Director in Manchester and currently the Head of Digital Development for NHS England in London.

He also covers Covid vaccinations Tech and Data as well as the Regional lead for Digital Inclusion. He is a firm believer in the power of prevention and early intervention, and breaking down silo working across the NHS, Local Authorities, Voluntary sector and wider commercial partners.
