Presentation: Turning the Promise of Transformation into Meaningful Impact

Leading digital transformation at the Netherlands Cancer Institute, Edgar’s work means innovation is not simply about efficiency or competitive advantage but where successful change has real-world consequences. Through honest stories, Edgar shares how leaders can inspire trust and overcome resistance to ensure transformation truly succeeds. Moving beyond the hype, he will also offer practical insights into how organisations can adopt emerging technologies, including AI, in ways that create genuine value vs. following the latest trend.

Presentation: Bridge and Barrier: The AI Paradox for Digital Accessibility

When Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web in 1989, digital accessibility wasn’t part of the plan. The internet existed, and that was enough. That decision is still costing us. 96% of the web remains inaccessible today, locking out roughly one billion people three decades after. We’re at a similar fork now, with AI and robotics driving the next transformation. Robotaxis are already giving blind and wheelchair users independence they didn’t have before, and AI agents can navigate a website on someone’s behalf.

However, the same technology that can help remove barriers so efficiently can lock people out again just as easily. Vibe coding is a statistical bet: it’s trained on the same codebases that produced today’s inaccessible 96%, so left alone, it will keep reproducing exactly that, unless we actively teach it otherwise. That’s the AI paradox: the tools that can remove accessibility’s biggest barriers can build new ones just as fast.

Accessiway combines human expertise with AI to close that gap at scale. This talk looks at what it takes to build accessibly from day one in this next transformation, and why it’s a market decision worth hundreds of millions of potential custom.

Presentation: Your Place in a World of Agents: The First Benelux Benchmark

Your customers are about to stop clicking. Soon their agent will shop, research, negotiate and act on their behalf. Gartner expects agents to autonomously resolve 80% of common service issues by 2029. When an agent is the one evaluating you, being findable, machine-readable and trustworthy is the new table stakes. Get it right and you’re the default choice. Get it wrong and you’re invisible. So how ready is anyone, really? In this keynote, Hannes shares the first-ever Agentic Readiness Benchmark for Belgium and the Netherlands: hard data on how prepared the region’s leading companies actually are, across industries, and what separates the ones turning agents into an advantage from those about to become obsolete. You’ll leave knowing the two questions every leader now has to answer: is your company ready for a world of agents, and can it act as one?

Fireside Chat: From AI Experimentation to Value - Responsible Decision-Making at Scale

Many organisations have moved beyond AI pilots, yet still struggle to translate innovation into sustained business value. As AI becomes embedded across the enterprise, leaders must balance innovation, investment and discipline while making confident decisions in an environment where data is abundant but certainty is not. In this keynote, Booking.com Group CFO Uvashni Raman, explores what it takes to move from experimentation to enterprise-scale adoption. Drawing on her experience helping shape business strategy at a global technology company, she will discuss how organisations can create lasting business value from AI, why judgement becomes more important as AI automates analysis, and how responsible AI can enable innovation by giving organisations the confidence to scale.

16:30 - 16:40

Presentation: Digital Sovereignty in the AI Era: An Engineering Discipline, Not a Product

Digital sovereignty is often sold as something you can purchase: a platform, a subscription, a “sovereign” label on a contract. Irina Gruzdeva, Andersen’s Chief Commercial Officer, will argue the opposite. Real sovereignty is not a product, but a capability organizations must deliberately engineer, and in the AI era this distinction becomes existential: models, clouds and data pipelines concentrate dependencies faster than any technology before them. Participants will learn how genuine control over data, AI and infrastructure actually takes shape: through architectural choices, migration strategy, integration layers, exit-readiness and governance processes, not vendor promises. The session unpacks why treating sovereignty as a checkbox leaves organisations exposed, and what it takes to move from dependency to ownership. Attendees will leave with a practical framework for telling the difference between building sovereignty and renting the appearance of it.
